Bond Elut PPL is a styrene divinylbenzene (SDVB) polymer modified with a patented non-polar surface. PPL can retain highly polar compounds such as phenols. Due to the large particle size of the filler, this stationary phase facilitates the passage of viscous or particle rich water-soluble samples, while its high specific surface area and strong hydrophobic effect ensure high recovery and reproducibility of elution.
Bond Elut PPL is suitable for US EPA method 528 "Determination of phenolic compounds in drinking water using SPE and capillary GC/MS.
